Requirements for Renting an Offroad OBK WORLD's Trailblazer Trailer:
Renting and towing an offroad camping trailer might seem daunting, but rest assured, our Trailblazer trailers are designed to be small, lightweight, and user-friendly for both experienced and novice drivers. To embark on your adventure with our Trailblazer trailer, here's a checklist of what you'll need:
- Tow Vehicle: Ensure you have access to a Truck or SUV equipped with a class I or higher hitch and a minimum towing capacity of 2500 lbs.
- Electrical Connection: Your vehicle should have a 7-pin RV trailer electrical hookup. In case you only have a 4-pin flat electrical hookup, don't worry – we provide an adapter that converts it to a 7-pin connection. This adapter powers the trailer's onboard brake controller and charges its battery. These Trailblazer trailers can also be towed without using electric brakes if needed.
- 2″ Ball Hitch Receiver: If you don't already have one, we can supply the correct 2″ ball hitch receiver for safe towing when you pick up the trailer.
- Driver Eligibility: Renters must be 25 years old or older and possess a valid driver's license. Additionally, you should have proof of vehicle liability insurance.
Don't have a trailer hitch? No problem, here are your options:
- Borrow or Rent a Vehicle: You can either borrow or rent a vehicle that already has a suitable tow hitch.
- Installation Services: If you prefer, you can also have a hitch installed at one of our locations.
- Local Market Installation: Alternatively, you may choose to have a hitch installed at a local market of your choice.
With these requirements met, you'll be well-prepared to rent and tow our offroad teardrop trailer, ensuring a safe and enjoyable adventure on the road.
